Lopamudra has donned several hats - an Innovation expert at Nielsen, Consumer Behavior specialist at The Third Eye, Consumer Insights Expert at Unilever managing both Indian and Global brands such as Fair & Lovely, Pond’s, Vaseline, and last but not the least, Executive Editor of The Mother, a spirituality magazine. In all her different roles, Lopamudra has exhibited her deep empathy and intense passion for people, be it her consumers, clients or colleagues. Armed with an MBA in Marketing, unique expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research, and her Editorial experience, she believes that the time has come for her to lend her unique understanding of modern business and Indian culture to create meaningful solutions.

Simran Kaur
Director and Co-Founder


Simran brings over 10 years of experience across innovation consulting, simulated test marketing, customized quantitative research, cultural immersions, exploratory research and communication consulting. She has worked across clients and industries including Unilever, Colgate Palmolive, ITC Foods, PepsiCo, Nestle, Bacardi, BAIN & Co., Godfrey Phillip India, Samsung and Unicharm amongst many others.

Passionate about travel and people, Simran also founded her own travel venture , ‘Trails with Tales’ which was just another excuse to interpret the society, culture and people through a traveller’s lens. She has curated and led several cultural sojourns and heritage walks in various parts of the country, discovering the song of the land, the language of the people, the larger than life festivities and the silently woven tapestry of everyday events – essentially the soul of the native.

Her contribution as a cultural expert to understanding human behaviour is invaluable at Road Not Taken.


Chandrasekhar Gopalakrishnan
Consumer Insight Veteran


Chandra has three decades of experience as a Consumer Insights professional. His experience includes a stint as Head-Consumer Insights at Colgate-Palmolive, apart from roles and responsibilities of progressive growth and development at Marketing Research agencies of repute (such as Nielsen and Kantar TNS). Over his long tenure in Consumer Insights, he has worked on a diverse range of sectors (such as Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Automobiles, Telecom, Financial Services, and so on).

Chandrasekhar is an alumnus of IIT-BHU and IIM Bangalore.



Rajeshwari Vijay Pandharipande
Linguist & Society Interpreter


Rajeshwari holds two Ph.D. degrees – Sanskrit and Linguistics. She teaches Linguistics, Religious Studies, Sanskrit, Comparative Literature, Asian American Studies, and Campus Honors Program and is a permanent member of South Asia Committee, University of Chicago. The primary focus of her research and teachings has been in languages, literatures and cultures of India, specifically, South Asian languages, Asian Mythology, Sociolinguistics, Language of Religion, and Hinduism in India and in Diaspora (USA).





Raj Supe
Ideation & Creativity Expert


Raj Supe, a.k.a. Kinkar Vishwashreyananda (ordained name), is a poet, storyteller, novelist, seeker, scholar and a communications expert. An MBA, he had a career in advertising, research and creative consulting before he turned to literature and spirituality. He is the Co-Founder of The Foundation for the Contemplation of Nature (FCN) and Editor of the spirituality e-magazine; The Mother An author and translator, he has several literary and spirituality works to his credit like When Life Turns Turtle, When Life Cartwheels,Big BappaPilgrim of the SkyCloudburst of Thousand Suns and Rainbow at Noon

Research Manager – Analysis and Synthesis


With a Post-Graduation in Management Practices as a Vedica Scholar and a mathematician by training from Delhi University, Vedita works a s a Research Manager at Road Not Taken, where she takes care of analysis and synthesis of all client projects. She believes in combining quantitative and qualitative analysis to weave out comprehensive understanding of markets and user behavior. A keen believer of the phrase ‘All the World’s a Stage’, she has spent a considerable time as a theater artist on stage.
